Emphasizes the study of the intellectual, cultural, scien-tific, political, and social contributions of the civilizations of the world and the evolution of these civilizations dur-ing the period from early modern times to the present. Topics include transitions to the Modern World, scientific revolution and the Enlightenment, political moderniza-tion, economic modernization, imperialism, and the Twentieth Century. Prerequisites: Appropriate Degree Level Writing (Eng-lish) and Reading Placement Test Scores
