SCMA 2103 Supply Chain Management Concepts

Logistics and Supply Chain Management today represents a great challenge as well as a tremendous opportunity for most firms. This course will view the supply chain from the point of view of a front-line supervisor. Logistics and Supply Chain Management is all about managing hand-offs in a supply chain, hand-offs of either infor-mation or product. Phrases like logistics management, supply chain management and demand chain manage-ment will be used interchangeably in order to provide an understanding on how logistical decisions impact the per-formance of the firm as well as the entire supply chain.
