Dual Enrollment - High School Students
Georgia’s Dual Enrollment program allows qualified high school students to maximize their education and career training by taking courses that earn college and high school credit at the same time. Under Dual Enrollment, students may take academic core courses that transfer to TCSG colleges and USG colleges and universities. Students may also take occupational and career courses that can help jump start a career.
Student who are in the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grades, attend a participating Georgia high school or an approved home study program may qualify to take college level course under the Dual Enrollment Program.
Dual Enrollment Requirements:
• Must attend a participating Georgia high school or an approved home study program
• Must satisfy score requirements in one of the following : ACCUPLACER, SAT, PSAT, ACT, ELA GA Milestone Scores, or HOPE GPA after completion of 10th grade
• Complete a Coastal Pines Technical College Dual Enrollment application for admission
• Receive approval from their high school
• Complete the Online Dual Enrollment Funding Application
• Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
