HORT 1720 Introductory Floral Design

This course introduces the basic concepts and practices of floral design. Topics include: introduction to floral de-sign; principles and elements of design used in floral compositions; identification of commonly used floral ma-terials; conditioning and storing cut flowers; mechanics and supplies of flower arranging; construction of basic geometric designs; and corsage construction.
